KMG Advisors is a principal investment and research group focused on Emerging Markets. We help investors identify investment opportunities through local due diligence and local contacts in China, India, Brazil and Russia. Investment opportunities include hedge funds, private equity, real estate, venture capital and public companies.

Kelly Gushue, Principal

Kelly has ten years of financial markets experience in various emerging markets and manages the research and investment platform. Before launching KMG Advisors, Kelly worked in Global Wealth Management at Citigroup for three years in San Francisco. She managed client portfolios with a focus on emerging markets and conducted due diligence in several countries. Prior to Citigroup, Kelly worked in Shanghai, China for two years. She was the first non-Chinese hired at the eighth largest investment firm to create an International Division in 2003. Kelly then joined ChinaVest, a merchant bank with a 25-year operating history in China, and created a research division covering Chinese companies and managed a team. She began her career at JPMorgan in Equity Research covering the software, global retail and global consumer sectors in San Francisco. Kelly has an A.B. in East Asian Studies from Harvard College.
